The surface reads like bare earth: warm terracotta tones shifting through amber and rust, rough to the eye yet smooth where it matters most — at the lip, in the hand.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\"\u003eKi-urushi does not announce itself. It begins quietly, and it grows. With use, the surface slowly deepens in color and develops a subtle luster. Every pour, every wash, every meal leaves its trace.
